Inspiration??

After an amazing few days away in Edinburgh Im back home with the weather to match my mood- dull 

Where has all that beautiful sunshine gone?? 

So time to get back to the drawing board, I just need some inspiration for my next drawing I'm thinking something to celebrate spring- maybe the lambs playing in my back field

... Or this cheeky chappie that made my visit to the zoo in Edinburgh

Chapel Gallery Hawes

Today I have started a new pencil drawing after a few hours solid work I only managed to get the ears done, hopefully I'll have better luck tomorrow

I took great care in producing this portrait of my Great Granny she was 95 at the time. When I went to take her photo she had a very proud posture and said... "If the Queen doesn't smile in a photograph than I shall not"it did make me chuckle, now whenever I see this portrait drawing it makes me smile.

Portrait Drawing

This is my gorgeous Goddaughter Frankie Olivia Iveson, as a christening present I thought it would be nice to do a portrait drawing of her, her parents were extremely chuffed with it.
